Author

Glenda loves to communicate by engaging others with words. In first grade, she wrote a one-page masterpiece about a talking cow that hung on the refrigerator for years(Everyone has to start somewhere, right?)

Since then, she’s published four books: one devotional and three college planning guides. As a children’s choir director, she wrote and produced dozens of musicals including Genesis: The Master’s Creation, a production that became the basis for an innovative Vacation Bible School curriculum.  Glenda has contributed to several anthologies and written articles for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine and Today’s Christian Living. Her devotions have been published on CBN.com, virtuouswomen.tv, and christiandevotions.us.

Glenda is currently working on several projects including When God Says No: Finding Hope in Heartache, a nonfiction narrative about her younger daughter’s catastrophic illness and the disability that followed. In 2021, an excerpt from the book won first place in the nonfiction category at the Carolina Christian Writer’s Conference.
