Speaker

Twice selected as one of the top seven speakers in the world by Toastmasters International, Glenda loves encouraging others and sharing insights. She has served as a speaker for multiple school, organization, luncheon, conference, youth, women, and church events. Some of her favorite topics include:

·      Let It Go: Releasing Your Plans to God’s Hands

·      Living Beyond: Finding Purpose in Pain

·      I Love Big Buts: When God Changes Your World

·      Fear, Faith, and Freedom: A Journey into Disability

·      Unexpected Grace

·      If…Overcoming Fear with Faith

·      The Three Little Pigs: Coulda (Fear), Woulda (Regret), and Shoulda (Shame)

You may notice some recurring themes here like pain, disappointment, and fear. Hmmm. That doesn’t seem very “encouraging.”

Well, looks can be deceiving. In fact, Glenda knows all too well when you can’t see God’s hand, you can still trust His heart.

In 2012, Glenda’s family experienced a major crisis when her younger daughter, an aspiring missionary nurse, became blind. As the family walked through an unbelievable season of loss into a world of disability, God proved Himself faithful. Much of Glenda’s sharing centers around the lessons learned during this time: how God can use anything, how pain is not the enemy, and how miracles are birthed in impossible times.

But Glenda’s goal is not just to tell her story; it’s to tell God’s story. To share the Truth that allows each individual to recognize how God is working in his or her life right now.

Glenda is also happy to create a presentation centered on the theme of your event. Whether you’re hosting a small ladies’ brunch or a large church conference, she’d love to be a part of your special occasion. For more information, contact her at glenda@glendadurano.com.
